Dr. Mette has a big heart for giving back to her communities. She has almost two decades of robust volunteer service. A few charities and service work organizations have included the Ronald McDonald House charities, Girl Scouts of Central Georgia, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Georgia, literacy outreach, March of Dimes and the Macon Volunteer Medical Clinic.

Personal Interests

When she isn’t working, Dr. Mette enjoys taking her four dogs on walks or to the dog park (and subsequently bathing them). She frequently hosts dinner parties, game nights, and homemade brunches for friends and family.

Biography

Dr. Nicole Mette brings a golden academic record and years of experience in internal medicine to McIntosh Clinic. For her undergraduate studies, she graduated magna cum laude from Eastern Illinois University. She completed her post-Baccalaureate studies in pre-clinical sciences at Middle Georgia State University and her Master of Science in preclinical sciences at Mercer University School of Medicine, both in Macon, Ga. She went on to earn her medical degree at Mercer and completed her residency in internal medicine at the Medical Center of Central Georgia/Atrium Health Navicent, also in Macon. Among her scholastic achievements were numerous scholarship awards and inductions to several honor societies. She is a member of the American College of Physicians.
